Plant native flora

As well as creating nesting sites for native bees, you can also help them thrive by planting the right flora to attract them to the area and provide nutrition. There are lots of native plants that they love like daisies, native peas, acacia, banksia and eucalyptus, while some introduced garden plants also help, like lavender and salvia. It should go without saying that spraying pesticides on these plants will have a negative effect on bee health in the area.
